Founder/Certified Professional Coach
Dr. Celia Jarvis, Certified Professional Coach, is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran and has over 20 years as a Human Resources professional. She has worked in private and public sectors, with experience in coaching, mentoring, facilitation, mediation, employee relations, training and development, and organizational and career development. Formerly an Adjunct Faculty with Southern New Hampshire University's Human Resource program and Course Facilitator in Cornell University's eCornell online Human Resources certificate programs.
Dr. Jarvis is an Author who received her doctoral degree in Organization and Management. She has studied and practiced transformational coaching; and is a certified Life and Success Coach through Jay Shetty Certification School, certified Life Coach through Brave Thinking Institute, Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, Certified Energy and Leadership Coach and Certified Professional Coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. Dr. Jarvis is also an Ethical Influence Coach and Practitioner through the Dr. Cialdini Institute.
Dr. Jarvis resides in Dayton, OH where she intentionally tries to live ELC's motto: "Transform your mindset, to transform your life".
ELC History
After hearing many stories of people feeling helpless and without purpose in their personal lives, and others without direction in their professional lives, Dr. Celia Jarvis decided to use her experience, education, and talents to help others in a meaningful way. She was determined to be a catalyst in guiding others on their unique transformational journey--whether in-person or through electronic technologies. Through this desire and with the encouragement of family and friends, Excelsior Living Consulting ("ELC") was formally launched in Dayton, Ohio in 2021.
